Patrick Mayhan Elected to HomeAid’s Leadership Ladder
Patrick Mayhan, purchasing manager for Westin Homes and a HomeAid board member for four years, has been elected to the leadership ladder beginning in 2017. Patrick’s deep commitment to HomeAid and his role as an advocate for the homeless within the community, speak volumes about his true dedication to serving men, women and children in crisis. Patrick will be HomeAid’s secretary in 2017, vice president the following year, and president in 2019. He has been a part of the new home building industry for over 20 years with stints at Newmark Homes, David Weekley Homes and, for the past 14 years, at Westin Homes. Patrick currently serves as chair of the HomeAid Project Management Committee. He has also been active as the vice president of the Bay Area Builders Association board. A native Houstonian, Patrick and his wife Michelle and their son Landon live in the West Houston area.
HomeAid Houston, a charitable 501(c)(3) non-profit organization sponsored by the Greater Houston Builders Association, identifies long term, stable homeless care providers who need additional capacity and pairs them with GHBA builders, remodelers, vendors and suppliers who donate their time, materials and labor to help build hope and homes for the homeless.
