During Texas summers, Lakeland Activity Center offers much-needed relief from the heat with its spray park, junior Olympic-size pool and two 30-foot tower slides. Exercise classes, community events and seasonal workshops are also hosted in this 6,000-sqaure-foot space, where a full-time activities director works on-site to maintain a bustling social calendar.
